Let the natural wonders of the Saskatchewan River Delta steal your heart! I look forward to my time with Solomon, Renee and Michaela each February - they are wonderful hosts, clean and comfortable rustic accommodations, incredible food & storytelling with nature abundant! You deserve to experience this for yourself; just be prepared to want to go back again, and again and again!Did I mention the moonlit wood fired sauna?!?!!! It’s just one of the many highlights at Big Eddy Lodge to look forward to!

Big Eddy Lodge
Big Eddy is a magical place and Michela and the Carriere family are among the most welcoming and hard working people I know. The Sask River delta is an incredibly diverse and unique landscape and these backcountry trails are maintained with such meticulous care and attention. The Hooved Man Fat Bike adventure is a highlight of my winter - some of the best riding I have experienced anywhere. Already excited to return next winter.

I love the time I spend at Big Eddy, it is my escape from the stresses of every day life.The peacefulness and beauty of northern Saskatchewan. And the hospitality and generosity of Solomon, Renee and Michela is second to none.I am always happy to visit and sad when I have to leave but, I know I will always be welcome.

I have visited Big Eddy Lodge twice in the past two years for their annual fat biking event and both weekends have been incredibly positive. The business owners, The Carriere family, are an amazing family and the landscape surrounding the camp is absolutely gorgeous!

I highly recommend a trip to Big Eddy Lodge. I recently visited on a fat biking weekend, and look forward to returning. The Carrières are very welcoming and make you feel like family. The remote wilderness setting and back to basics amenities will allow your mind and soul to completely relax while your heart races and your spirit soars on the superb fat biking trails.
